You don't need a proxy to see where your website ranks, just use this tool: http://tools.seobook.com/general/advanced-rank-checker/index.php to view the google ranking
Google includes the IP of the requester when getting results. Therefore if I'm querying Google India from NZ that's included in the algorithm and skews the results. How does this tool get around that? This guy was looking for Indian results in India. He's sorted now (thanks to an Indian contractor), but it's an interesting discussion.
jimmy - was that your site - I needed to do a site check and wanted an indian proxy - everytime I thought I'd found one it ended up back in Texas... grrrrr!
Hers is a list of Indian proxy servers. Not sure how many of them are open, working and anonymous, but you can trust the codeen servers(312*) as long as you're not using post method. Use them at your own risk.
LOL, this thread is no 1 on google for "indian proxy". getjimmy, I'll buy you a beer if you edit your post and paste in some of my proxies
Who cares? Do I look like the person who would be helpful on a thread that could be a great traffic-bait?
