Looking for an image hosting script

I was going to post this in the WTB scripts section, but I've seen similar posts to this and most of them end up linking to the same type of scripts that I've seen many times before. So I didn't want to end up with the same results.

We've got a new project coming up and don't really have time to code this ourselves, so we're looking to see if anyone knows of a high quality image hosting script. Something of the flickr, photobucket nature. Something that allows the users to not only upload their photos, but crop, resize, etc. Looking for high quality and easy customization. I've looked at just about every free one out there and have gone through pages and pages of google results with some that looked promising only to be let down.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

The point is buy a mid end type of script then hire freelance to enhance the script function.
