hi all, a friend of mine who works as a print graphic designer, lately started designing websites as well for some extra cash. he got a request to design and build a website about stamp auction. the customer wants something like Delcampe.net the guy did a very nice design and all, but has no clue on how to program it. Moreover the customer wants a CMS! this the designer has no chance of making. i suggested trying WP, but i can't seem to find an appropriate theme. can anybody help me with this? they want people to be able to register to the website and pay by several means (paypal, moneybookers...). appreciate the help
Have a look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-auctions/. Maybe this is for you. If your friend is designing websites he could use artisteer to build a decent WP theme. That way you should have "Auction Plugin+WordPress+Auction theme=happy customer".
