Looking for an AI Image generator that can take an existing product and manipulate it

For a hobby project I'd like to take a product image (not my product) and manipulate how it looks, put in a background etc. The AI tools that I've tried have been hopeless but they try to upsell to an expensive service and I'm not about to start paying without being confident it'll work.

Has anyone done anything like that and had success?

    Did you test Windows copilot?
I've concluded that I have less trouble if I create the images from scratch with AI than if I try to edit an existing image.

I might try on my husband's computer, I'm a Mac user. I did try without an existing image and the results were... interesting. I put in the prompts that the product was real and I kept getting nonsense back.

Among the AIs that edit and create the images for free, copilot has the best result for me. And of course, there are a series of websites that, as you said, require the purchase of a plan, but they have a trial version for testing, so it's not a bad idea to test them.
