If you planing to use ModenaCam.com script and license maybe you should be aware about that they have so bad support and quiet often close users account when you asking to much. To get things from them is not easy. The download script they sell to you is not complete to use. They like to have control over things. The script need more files to get to work. Like Adobe FMS server. They say they install that for free on your server but if you have a license key on Adobe Flash media server. Adobe have a policy that you can't install that on multi servers. It they had a real license on Adobe's flash media server they already breaking the license police here. http://www.adobe.com/products/eula/flashmediaserver/multicorepolicy/ But they don't even have a license key for the Adobe Flash media server they install. I bought a copy of the Modenacam and i did look in my ams.ini to find my license and i ask Adobe if this is a serial made by Adobe but they say that the serial they use to install Adobe Flash media server on my server was a false serial and i was risking of getting my server shut down by Adobe or my hosting company if they find out. So a big warning! So don't even think of buying from Modenacam.com. If you support piracy you should buy from them but if you don't like criminals getting your money don't buy from them. Here is there false serial they install on my server. Note! This is not the full serial. If you already bought a license of Modenacam and they have install a copy of Adobe flash media server on your own server you are in a risk of getting your server shut down by Adobe or your hosting company if they find out. Please check your license key at ams.ini they install on your server and ask Adobe support if the license they install is a valid license key from Adobe. And to fight piracy you can report Modenacam.com to Adobe piracy right here on this link http://www.adobe.com/au/aboutadobe/antipiracy/corpform.html To get your money back please contact Paypal and report them for piracy.
Sorry to hear about your experience with that provider. We develop our solutions to also support the free Red5 server that's a great choice for startups that want to use their dedicated server or VPS but don't have a budget for licensing a RTMP server. We also released remote rtmp plans from $9/month.
Hello Everyone who is interested in building a webcam website. Our clients have also negative feedback about Modenacam. So I'm not surprised. For the people who follow the latest technologies, I recommend taking a look at https://www.modelnet.club project. The streaming solution we use is based on WebRTC. It takes the ability to get rid of using Adobe Flash on a website. That means you could play high-quality video on mobile devices as well.
While WebRTC is popular with technology geeks and enthusiasts, many regular users are not able to access such implementation or can only use limited functionality. WebRTC is not currently supported by default PC browsers (like Internet Explorer for Windows, Safari for Mac OS). https://videochat-scripts.com/webrtc-videochat-and-conferencing-support/ This solution implements HTML5 HLS/DASH playback on mobile browsers (iOS/Android) and is free to try (both in live demos and trial downloads): https://paidvideochat.com/features/
That's information is outdated. Please check current browsers support on https://www.modelnet.club/blog/webrtc-webcam-website.html HLS playback has a great latency (up to 30 seconds) between chat participants. That makes 2-way video talks irritating. Same time RTMP streaming can't be used as a broadcasting technology for streaming from mobile devices using a browser. WebRTC doesn't have such restriction.
While WebRTC support increased and we are evaluating some implementations, we still consider it experimental technology due to scalability issues. Because WebRTC utilizes peering networks, there still has to be a nearby node to help distribute the stream to other local hosts. Peering across a global network can be incredibly difficult. Conventional out-of-the-box WebRTC solutions require each client to establish and maintain separate connections with every other participant in a complicated network where the bandwidth load increases exponentially as each additional participant is added. Broadcasters need server grade connections to live stream to multiple users and using a regular home ADSL connection (that has has higher download and bigger upload) causes real issues. While testing with 2 or few users works fine in demos and trials, WebRTC limits often show in production mode as load increases: becomes unusable when many users are watching same HD stream and broadcaster connection is regular (which often is for performer sites). We consider implementing this technology for 1 to 1 videochat sessions. Our apps support P2P streaming (over RTMFP) as alternative to RTMP server relay since years ago and high load tests showed that best scenario for P2P was the 2 Way Videochat application https://www.videowhisper.com/?p=2+Way+Video+Chat . All startups hope their streaming applications will become a huge success, with thousands of viewers watching. A performer streaming a full hd video at 8Mbps ( https://videochat-scripts.com/recommended-h264-video-bitrate-based-on-resolution/ ) directly to 100 viewers in various world locations would require up to 800Mbps upload connection. Most ADSL connections have under 100Mbps upload allowing streaming such video to a maximum of 12 users.
You don't have to establish p2p connection between a performer and viewers. We use following scheme: performer > server > viewers. Thus performer has just one ongoing stream to a proxy server. We did a real test with 250 live connections to a single performer with incredible video quality just using wi-fi connection in a hotel from Vegas. Watchers were all around the world and the server was located in US also. We even didn't reach the limit of the server 1gpps bandwidth. So that's only the question how you manage streams that's it. In addition now with have a distributed network of video streaming servers in US and Europe that provides us an opportunity to establish very fast live video streams. Check our demo site to see how it works in real – https://demo.modelnet.club. It's available 24 hours a day for tests.
