I am looking for inspirational web development sites such as https://tympanus.net/codrops/category/playground/. Particularly I am interested in module and navigation effects, but will be glad about references links as well.

Thank in advance for any suggestion

I already found a few ones here (https://codepen.io/pens/), but the list is by far not as good as the tympanus one.

    And another one: https://codemyui.com

I think you will find that most coders here look at things like this and go "well, ain't that neat" and then never goes back. It's flashy, and "cool", but the practical applications for a lot of these experimental features are less than zero. Fancy searchboxes? Check. How long till you get tired of seeing the same popup with "recommended" which takes a couple seconds every single time you wanna search for something on the page? Think if Google had something like that? Simplicity is often key, and flashy might look fancy and cool, but the usability isn't always on par. Hence I think you'll have a hard time finding a lot of these sites here.

@PoPSiCLe Thanks a lot for your input. I very much agree to your statement but there are still sometimes great functions that can be implemented to a website layout very well in terms of usability and design. Most of the stuff is of course rather useless, but not all.

I can recommend you to check codepen.io for similar experiments in everything about web development. Plus you can fork them and create&reuse your own versions. Yes, not everything is usable in the practice but you can find many good solutions that save time.
