Hi, I'm in the UK, but most of my traffic comes from the US. At the moment, I have a fansite (music) that gets a fair amount of traffic, but the money I'm making off Adsense is piddly because the clicks are generally worth a couple of cents. The demographic for the site is teens, so I'm guessing that a ringtone affiliate might be a good way to go. So, I'm looking for a decent ringtone affiliate, that I can easily get paid for in £. Advice appreciated.
CJ has Jamster although their links apear to be more USified... but it's an option as there is always a link to the UK version of Jamster.
Go for Clickbooth.com you will find many rintones affiliates ..and their payment is promt and best one i have used
Hi, We are a UK based ringtone affiliate platform please PM me if you would like to find out more - I certainly wouldn't go with Maryli's suggestion that you create your own ringtones! when looking for a provider, you should be looking for a number of things - 1) A good out payment rate 2) Good content with easy integration and most importantly, how frequently is the content updated? To make good money out of ringtones, you need to get the latest content quick! Back catalogue sales can be worth while but you will sell more of any particular ringtone while the original song is in the charts and receiving airplay, some of the better providers put pre-release content in their top 10's this is a distinct advantage when it comes to having the latest, most desirable content on your website.
Yes Jamster are good - They offer a lot of marketing collateral in terms of web banners etc but the main objective of their affiliate scheme is to bring customers back to their own Jamster branded site – Thus affiliates do not benefit as well as they might from repeat sales (which is why Jamster pay quite a high out payment for the initial sale) Also as far as I’m aware, they have a hugely successful subscription model but do not pay their affiliates a percentage of the ongoing revenue that they generate from their customers subscription. I suppose it depends on what the affiliate wants to do – take advantage of a merchants brand equity or use a partner that sits in the background Provideing an un-branded service, allowing the affiliate to build their own pool of loyal consumers who will return to the affiliates own web site to make repeat purchases.
