there are many people in dp offering to submit your site to 1000+ directories for a few XX$.

take service from a reputed person with good itrader.

 

directory submission and back links would do better than other things. and again it depends ur promoting skills...

 

there are lots of online resource available....but find good resource first like DP, search engine watch etc

and search for "blog comments powered by disqus" (do not remove quotes) and add your niche so that they become relevant.

And also don't spam them.

 

My advice is not what other people are doing, since the techniques of link building are every where

but tracking your results, without knowing what is working your work can be futile
