Hi. This is a big topic - but I welcome your advice as a a starting point. I am looking to build a PC with an opensource OS. Things have come on alot since I used to use red hat linux about 5 years ago, so I was wondering which flavour of linux based OS to use. I am also looking for an email client, that can syncronise with Outlook 2003 on my laptop. Other than that I am confortable using openOffice and Gimp, but what other software should I look into downloading. Thanks for your time Brian
I found fedora core 6.0 very useful and powered by lot of wireless drivers... All red hat applications are working fine on FC 6.0 For email client thunderbird is good ...
