Hi there, I am looking for some advice on getting traffic to some high paying keyword sites that I will be setting up over the next few weeks. I still have a lot of writing to do at the moment so it will be a good week before i even have one launched, but I want to start gathering information on the best ways to get traffic to these sites, and more importantly through to the links.

From what I have read so far it seems the easiest route is to simply buy traffic. But, I know from experience a lot traffic you buy online is npothing but robots and auto surfers. So, are there any good tips I can follow in buying traffic that is real people? Also, a question for those who have used this method, what type of click through rate can one generally expect when buying quality traffic?

Finally, what other methods of getting visitors can those who are experienced reccommend? By the way I do plan on stumbling and digging each of the articles.

    Thanks!

I assume you mean buying traffic to send to adsense.

If that's the case, just buy it from smaller PPC engines like 7search.com, etc., etc.

You've got to be careful with sites that target high paying keywords. There are so many spammy sites out there that just use terms on those top keyword lists, so people get used to assuming that any site they come across on this topic is spam. Without seeing your sites, I can't tell if you are actually trying to provide original and useful content or if you are just jumping in the pool of spammers. I know there are plenty of people on Digg and SU that will downvote any site they recognize as having one of these topics without even checking to see how useful it really is. If you site is about DUI lawyers, mesothelioma, or payday loans expect to get buried on the social bookmarking sites no matter how good your site may be. The problem with buying traffic is that cheap traffic is junk, and good traffic to a high paying keyword site is expensive. That's redundant, because if it's a high paying keyword site then of course advertisers are paying a lot for that traffic.

What I'm trying to say is this: you're facing stiff competition from SEO pros and blackhat artists, and the social mobs will probably try to work against you. It might literally take years of producing quality content before you can break through the masses of spam sites and into the top quality search results, which will bring the quality traffic you're looking for.
