Hi all i'm just looking for some advice from the regulars here please.

I've dabbled with designing websites before and know a bit about internet marketing and to be honest i have never made a whole load of cash from it and i know a lot of people are in the same boat.

Anyway i recently lost my drive to carry on with my sites and dropped them. One was a poker tutorial site and the other was a male based blog both which i believe were in over saturated markets. Now i'm back again and more determined than ever to get a site running that will be a success even though my idea of a success is making $1 a day.
I know there are easier ways to make $1 a day but i would like to do it through a website that i own.

Does anyone have any experience with auto scripts as i have seen a few for Jokes, Movie trailers, Free SMS text messaging etc and was wondering is this just another over saturated place or is it actually possible to break through and make a dollar or two out of it? I like the idea of automated content but would also like to add my own personal touches to it and do these scripts allow it?

Another thing i'm looking at is web hosting, i'm used to using Hostgator for my hosting needs and find it useful for the addons you can use like wordpress and joomla. Do most hosting companies use a similar setup? And if so can you suggest some please?

Anyway that's all i can think of for now as i'm on my lunchbreak.
    Look forward to your answers!
    Thanks

Go with your gut desire and you will have success. I know that sounds over-simplified.

The first goal of a website is to benefit people online. It is not to make money. What
can you do to bring a solution to people's needs ? For instance; the term "get rid of ______".

You can fill in that blank with "acne", "cancer" , "spam" or whatever you might think of.
But right now people are looking to get "rid" of one thing or another online and you can
help them do it with ....... information. The information age is here ( has been for a while now )
and if you provide a solution to a problem people have, they will come to your site. Later, you can sell them something.

If you just want to sell a product, seek out an affiliate website such as Clickbank. You can buy a product, even if it is a PLR product and you have Master Resell Rights, and put it on Clickbank and have an immediate army of salespeople ready to sell it for you online if you are willing to give them a good percentage of the sales.

There is no saturated market as long as you are thinking outside of the box. Saturated market can become profitable market if treated with unique way. If you want to earn from website then i suggest learn blog monetizing because you can build multiple streams of income from it. Then you can upscale it with autoblogs. This is best using Wordpress.
If you want to build regular websites, not blog then i suggest learning Joomla because it is great and can build any websites do you want easily.
Most hosting companies will provide script installer (fantastico or any name) to help you install popular script easily like Joomla or Wordpress. This is general features so don't take hosting that doesn't provide this.
