I am looking to figure out the affiliate advertising game. I currently do PPC ads and am doing well for my cashhomebuyers.com site, but would like to explore PPA. Also I am developing real estate investing information and marketing products that will be sold on my other site and would be also be looking to sell my products through affiliate marketeers as well. So I see there are 2 basic methods to do affiliate marketing that i am researching now. 1. Use a software, 3rd party hosted or integrated in the site to spawn off affiliate marketeers that come to your site, or to promote on your own through various means to offer a direct relationship 2. Use CJ, Azoogle and the many more 3rd party advertisers, to match you up with publishers etc. Ok questions: a. Are my above statements on the right track, am i missing anything? b. Do the 2 methods listed above conflict or is it possible/recommended to do both? c. Is picking the software right the first time critical? i am afraid that i will find i need something different later, and worry about having to start all over, or is it possible to transition to the next program/software with out completely starting from scratch. d. Any software recommendations? Yes i know you will lead me to your affiliate page and i don't mind signing up from you but i am looking for a personal recommendation, not a "shopping comparison" that i can find on my own. e. If as an advertiser i am only paying for sales (And i can pay well and have a decent close ratio) shouldn't i do every possible 3rd party affiliate matching like CJ and Azoogle? or are there terms and conditions that prohibit or is it not feasible for some reason that i can't see f. Are there people that will help you launch an affiliate sales process as I can see that expertise would benefit greatly and it could be a lot of work signing up for everything and there appear to be strategies to become "popular" within each advertising venue. Now i assume the answer will be yes on this to some degree, and therefore, how do you evaluate and how much do these companies/individuals typically get compensated? Thanks in advance for your help Scott
Another plea for advice, you may answer only one/some of the questions, and i will give rep for good answers. thanks scott
If you need any software affiliate solutions then there is some of the best listed here Must admit though, it is more costly, but you don't have as much hassle when going with a network that also already have a publisher base.
