i've hit a point where i'm not sure what i can do to make it more successful.. every idea i have feels like a lost ambition. so i've come here with hope of advice and some inspiration, help, tips.. anything. it's just a basic chat site but i want it to be successful.. calling all winners.. i need your help www.singlechatsite.com don't expect to be impressed, it's just a very basic to the point chat site thank yous
You've got to tell us what to do when we get to your site. There's no call to action. Nothing "sexy" or fun to make me want to sign up and chat. Who are you targeting? Women? Men? College Students? This type of niche needs pictures and you've got to tell visitors what you want them to do and then make it easy for them to do that. Hope this helps...
I think the best advice here is this: 90% of sites will fail, its a matter of doing it enough to find the winner; same thing when you are writing an ad, promoting an offer, building a site;
And the best advice, you will ever get, is: Don't start a site if you have 0$ to invest. Heck, don't start if you even have $200. Heck, if you have $1k to invest but will quickly spend it on stuff you dont need/work - don't start a site. But, maybe, if you have $1k or similar and you know what you are doing (aka full business research plan, ideas etc), then maybe, with lots of headache and further research, tweaking etc - you will have some success. Sounds depressing? I know.. And to throw some ideas towards your way, a chat site, is like a forum must be active all the time, otherwise users wont use it. There are many chat sites already... and hard to make money of it, I dont like the idea of chat sites or social networks, video sharing, etc sites at all. there is nothing to do with call to action with chat site, only built for ads, porn chat site? porn ads, etc. a porn chat site, should be a part of a well constructed site of porn, then these users come to chat, video cam, etc, will use your porn site. when they will use your porn site you can ask for subscriptions etc. same if you have lets say animal related site, lookig to expand it and make video chat section. So, for me a chat is part of a bigger site, not a site by its own.
I think the website is too dull. A better display (and colors) will be a big help. Another thing, when I visited your website and tried to log in to chat, there's no one there. Where's fun?? Why don't you hire someone (or you can do yourself) so the chat room will feel like a live one. Just my two cents... Anyway, good luck!
