I have a gaming site that is tailored to a specific MMO. It's very successful in the early going and I'd love to use it's success to begin a larger site tailored to many games. How can I properly move the traffic (and keep the backlinks, etc) from

www.mygamesite.com to www.mygame.myMULTIgamesite.com the proper way. Is there a way?

Right. 301 just transfers everything that comes to the new site.

Or if you don't want to edit the htaccess file you could always use a redirect html page and use it as your index. PM me if you need anymore help. :)
