No response = no interest. First impressions are very important, here or in general. If someone comes off asking "How much do you pay?" while a valid question, doesn't speak well for the person if that's their only question. Secondly, if someone has only a few posts on DPF or no itrader, then that doesn't speak well to experience. A forum moderator job is a very lucrative position with long term upside, not going to "give someone a chance" just because they are 1 of the 50 people who ask. If you want a job, whether this or something else, stand out from the pack, don't expect because you say "pretty please" that's going to make you different from the 50 other people who can't write an intro. Job is still open for anyone who has two bits of experience in this field. No need to say you sent me a PM, I already know.
