Some time ago, I had a Post editor plug in that was great...it stopped being compatible with word press' frequent updates.

Does anyone know of an updated plugin? Change font colors, image resizing, change font sizes...?

Google search turned up a bunch of old plug ins.

Yes, I use scribefire. I was looking for something to install with wordpress to have control over font sizes and colors without having to put the code in.

Is anyone using anything like this...that is good ?

Wordpress 2.X+ has a built in WYSIWYG tool called "visual editor" check you can enable it in your user profile, check the option "Use Visual Editor" and when you go back to the write a post page you can see the WYSIWYG editor.
