Hey, I just created my first salon website www.beavertonsalon.com and am looking for any advice on how I can make it better. Basically my HTML/CSS skills are limited so I'm looking for any suggestions about what I should change or possibly get rid of. Any advice would be great. Thanks Jami79
Hi I checked your this website, navigation looks nice in this!! In this website you can do following things better: Create a nice Head Banner for your this page!! For Content Text, please choose a nice font, and also do font size small!! Change your background image to a repeatably background, it look ugly in inner pages!! Do above 3 changes, it will sure make your website look fine!! Cheers
Hi Jami, I love the background of the site its great, the menu is good, I think the text inthe blog sections might be too big, it means we have to scroll down the page to the next one so maybe change the size of that. That table for the prices is too much in the old style and you might need to just get rid of the borders and padding, this is easy enough "border=0" "padding=0" or in css - "border: 0;" etc. The logo seems to complicated as well, its the first thing people will see so you might need to make it more simple, a good rule of thumb my design teahcer told me was that if you can squint while looking at a logo/banner and still make out what it is/says then thats good. Hope this was useful to you anyway, really good effort thought and just needs a couple changes in my opinion. Regards, TeamAwesome
Thanks so much for all your help, I'm trying to build this site on my own so it's a work in progress.
