I am in search of an experienced designer is more of an artist than technical. My site is a weight loss site. The site runs on Joomla, WordPress and SMF. I am looking for the designer to design a Joomla template, Wordpress template and an SMF message board skin that is weight loss related and that adheres to the same "look and feel" across all aspects of the site.

Please see the areas of the site here:

    Joomla powered: http://www.lackfat.com
    Wordpress powered: http://www.lackfat.com/blog
    SMF powered: http://www.lackfat.com/forum

Please PM if you are able to do this. I think an artistic person would be a better fit for this role. I don't need a coder. I need a web artist who is able to work with Joomla, wordpress and SMF. This project would consist of template creation for joomla and wordpress and skin creation for the forum.

Logo and image design will also be needed for this. I need to see samples of your work as well so I am able to determine levels of creativity. Being able to write code doesn't qualify a person for this project (I am sure the real artists know what I mean).

I have found some joomla templates online that could be edited for the joomla aspect of this site however they aren't perfect as that is what I am seeking for this project (and I doubt the look and feel for the joomla sections and the wordpress sections would match by trying to use canned templates for each).

Additional design work would be awarded to the person who gets this project, i.e, email html templates, additional images and more. Looking to award a design contract for continued work on the site.

    Thank you.

i would do this for about $3k. thats alot of work. i don't understand why you don't just use joomla as a blog and use kunena forums, so that you have one unified template. These are now good solutions. Joomla is getting better and better as an all in one website solution.

2 templates for $3k is way too much. This project shouldn't take any longer than 2 - 3 hours to complete. There are several reasons why I have choosen to use joomla, wordpress and smf. Just need a template. If you take a look at the urls I had inserted in the post the site is pretty much complete other than the templates. Could you show me some of your design samples? I really do not want to say that $3k is too much for your services until I have seen your work.

ADSC, I am definitely very interested in this. What kind of budget do you have? I can send you a quote on all the material if you would like one, but I'm very flexible with potential client's budgets.

It's a lot of work to unify the themes of those three CMS, but it can be done successfully.

See one of my latest designs here at DP on display: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1871423

What's your budget for the job? This will enable me to decide whether to opt in or not. Charging a client depends on how much the person can afford.

I just wanted to thank all of those who had responded to the thread. I was able to get the templates installed on all 3 portions of the site. Once I have completed the design elements (as best as my abilities will allow) I will most likely have edits and adjustments needed on the designs in order to completely unify them. If you look at the templates in the main site, blog and forum you will see that I came pretty close in terms of unification of designs (considering that I did not write one line of code). Right now I think it is just a matter of text color and face as well as unifying the background colors across all 3. If anyone can unify the background, text face and colors this is more of what I need now. Thank you.
