I have not started a thread here in a long time, but after a weekend of over eating at Thanksgiving I migrated back to DP to read a few of the most recent threads. Not only was this past weekend a good one for me, but I really started to understand how many blessings I have in my own life after watching some news coverage of the terrorist attacks in India last week. So much of what I watched tonight on television reminded me of the terrible terrorist attacks that took place right here in the US on September 11th, 2001. It is beyond me how any person could have a heart that so filled with hatred that they would travel to a distant land with no other purpose but to kill innocent people. I know it takes all kinds of people to make this world go round, but there is something that is mentally wrong in the mind of terrorist - but I have never been able to put my finger on exactly why they have such a strong need to kill people that do not totally agree with them. Anyway, for most people in the US - Thanksgiving weekend was a positive experience, but it also reminded all of us how much other people - we don't even know, hate our very existence.
