Looking for a suggestion for a niche.

Im searching for a niche which is easy to start with. I've had previous experience with gaming website but I always end selling my website and making a big 10$ profit =P.
Gaming websites are hard to market because there's alot of them.
I thought about a gaming social website such as digg. Im not sure if they are hard to market.

Try something that you already have an interest in.

 

think of different hobbies or sports your into..write a list...do some research and choose wisely.

 

build a site on higher paying keywords ,

 

go for dog niche.

 

Do what you love - the money will come later.

 

Alright thanks alot everyone. I think I found what Im gonna do. I'm gonna build a Bookmarking social network ONLY about gaming news. User will post there news on my website and other will vote on them such as digg.com.

Is it a good idea? I like working with games.

I would like to say something..

The best profitable market is which people most needed.. as an example, Health, it is needed to everyone at least once in their lifetime.. Education, Travel, vehicle, real state, sex ..etc. etc. these are which people need at least once.. choose your niche with these niches,

about your gaming bookmarking site, How many webmasters out there marketing games ? how many will be able to find your site ? will they register without lot of traffic to your site or pagerank ? how many page impressions will you be able to get ? how much advertisers will pay you ? just think a little..

 

Traffic and rank will grow with time and work.Well,I bought this domain http://igmon.com which stands for I game on . It's the shortest domain name I found with a little bit of meanings. It's easy to remember and short. Not the best but it's not bad(I think so). My website is 100% not ready and under construction. I Will Make a great gaming looking design for my users. I will try to make it unique as possible.
I like working in the gaming niche and I think it has a lot of possible traffic.My first goal is to reach a total of 1000 unique users daily after one year.I'm pretty sure it's possible.

Ps:I just for my 17 on 16 august and I'm french.There might be a couple of errors in the text. Still learning!

 

What about a death-like niche, i.e funeral, tombstone, deadbodies, body bag and so on. You call it!

Google also has a nice keyword tool that shows you how many searches a particular word or phrase gets in a month
