    Do you need IRC functions using chat or the complete IRC chat channel installed?

    If the former, have you checked out the AjaxChat Integration mod available on the smf modifications section on the official site?
    Its script utilizes the IRC methods and also made available IRC commands.

    Do you already have an IRC Server set up? there's quite a few Online IRC Clients that you can integrate in different levels with your website, i can help you(free) with a couple of links/advices on how to do it, if you need, PM me.
