Looking for a Sitemap creator

Hello,

J have a website with 1000 pages, but only 200 are indexed by Google 1 month after its launching, that's normal ?

If a sitemap may help me indexing the website, could you please advise a tool to generate it !

Take a look at http://www.webrickco.com/buildsitemap.php, it goes to 10000 links, and it has plenty of options.

Indexing from google requires a lot of time, and doesn't depend on the content of the sitemap. In my experience, 200 in one month is not bad at all.

 

I have used phpsitemap. It's listed as a resource on the google help pages. It's an old generator but a decent one.

So maybe you can see if they have problem getting your content. 200 in the first month is good.

Having a large starting site may have triggered some penalties as its not natural to start so big. Was your content machine generated? unique content or does it pull information from somewhere else?

 

it is normal to have that many link to a site still young, and increasing links are gradually on the more you should regularly referenced your site in directories and search engines and my opinion is not important the number of pages indexed, but that is important to have a good page rank which must take your thought.

 

Please check Robots.txt file and try to include all the webpages in this files so that google bots index all your webpages.... Why I m saying abt this ..
Robots is a complementary to sitemaps so have a check on this one....

alor of the free ones have a 500 page limit, if you find a free one with no limit, please let me know

 

I've always used xml sitemap dot com but i guess it only goes up to 1000 pages.
