Looking for a script that encrypts ebook download urls?

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for a script of some sort that will 'cloak' my ebook download url. E.g. a person should be able to access the url for 2 hours, after that the url loses it's validation. Also, everytime someone purchased, they should receive a new randomly generated url.

    Basically;

    instead of: www.mysite.com/download/ebookdownload.html
    should be: www.mysite.com/download/dh39nd0d394n8.html

    If you get my drift. The payment pages are set, I just need a 'stand alone' script for an ebook (pdf) download.

    If anyone can help me with this I'd be very grateful!

    Regards, Rudolf

    I don't think there's a specific script that does only what you want, you can use shop scripts though?
    But this would be custom.

    I know they should be out there, just can't find it. The thing with shop scripts is that I don't need the shopping process around it as it's already been taken care off. Thanks though.

    Anyone else perhaps?

    This wouldn't be hard to write. How would the script get the notification that someone purchased? It would have to integrate with your shopping cart or whatever type of order processing script you're running so it could either email the link to the customer or forward them to their page.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Once the payment process is completed, the customer will be redirected to the download page. My eBook is currently submitted to an affiliate network which takes care of the payment process and allows me to choose a thank you/download page. It would indeed be nice if the customer would be able to also receive the download link through email in case he/she chooses to download it later, abling to submit email on that same page.

    Take a look at linklok URL - http://www.vibralogix.com/linklokurl/

    I've seen free scripts that will kinda do what you need but most will need further modification, another script similar to Linklok is this one, and free:
