If you are interested in recurring billing service you can use http://chargify.com or http://spreedly.com they take percentage of your transactions but handle (almost) everything for you.
Greg: Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I did a search for "spreedly" and this topic came up. Have you tried it before? I am thinking about using it, and currently am having my programmer look into setting it up with my site. They give a test account, which is awesome. Shaanta[dot]com
