Hi all, I've built an online/browser gaming/arcade website which I'd like to have a CMS system. Currently it exists out of .html pages. I want the layout to remain exactly the same as it is now, so the pages basically need to be converted. I have no idea what system would work best for this (probably .php?) so I've posted it here. Must be able to.. - simply set up new game pages, I imagine a form where I enter the description, choose category, page name, keywords, hover image etc. and be able to enter the .swf url. - auto-add the new game listing (url to game page) into the right category, where this new, and the bottom listing will both be copied to their category page - hover over images must load faster, rating script must function faster (image load) - I need to be able to apply different advertising scripts per category, these will be banners, or better area's on the page (that can be stretched x and y) for different sizes for ad placement. Currently I'm using iframes and that works ok, but their width and height cannot be modified, though this concept is easy to manage and would like to see this again. - notice the '#start' code added to the game page link (see links at top of this post) I'd like the page to jump to a point so the user doesn't have to scroll down on every page, but can always go up whenever he wishes, just another thing to maximize userfriendlyness - integrate Mochigames (this is currently my main resource of games) - I noticed they have a script available that allows you to 'post' their game on your website. I'm not sure how that works but it should be integrated into a game creation page. - option to add or hide polls at the top of any page - would be nice if I could have an overview of all pages, statistics etc. and easily browse through them to edit or add new ones. - 'popular' and 'new' texts next to the links on the main page should be able to add them manually, perhaps with a tick box at the game creation page - if possible, convert game title into images so I can keep using the game page title pixel font. It might be possible some thing can be fixed if I upgrade to a better server, since I'm currently using shared hosting (Hostgator), e.g. the loading time of hover images. You can make loadtime instant by just doing background positioning and sprites (keep both mouseover and mouseout image on same file). Keep in mind if you're on an oversold-to-death shared host, expect your site overall to load slower with a CMS compared to static html
