I have been doing graphic design and web design for about 12 years now. The problem is I am no programmer. I have spent months trying to figure out the programming aspect of web design (such as PHP, MYSQL, AJAX, etc) and have had no luck whatsoever. I get alot of crazy new ideas that I think would blow up and then guess what? 2 months later I see them on the front page of Digg. The problem is I can't program. I am sure you see where I am getting here. What I am looking for? I am looking for a programmer who is familiar with PHP, MYSQL, AJAX, etc.. I would like to partner up with this individual to create some nice sites. These sites will be created and owned by the both of us. How will it work? 1. I will give you the ideas that I have and we can select the best one. 2. We will talk it over and see what type of features, etc we will would like to see on the site. 3. I will build the design while you program the site. 4. We will implement everything together. What's the point? I have perfected graphic design. But as I stated above I couldn't program if my life depended on it. I need a partner who can program! Are you limited to PHP or would you consider other languages? We are wanting to set up a few of our own sites but have too much constraint on our designer to be able to do it so this could work for us.
