Looking for a program to change many file names

    Don't really know where to post this, so I hope it fits here.

    I need a program that can add something to every file name in a folder. I have some large folders and don't want to rename every file because it would be too time consuming.

    i use Bulk Rename Utility. Google it.
    its free too.
    saves me a lot of time.

    Thanks but I found Rename Master before I saw your post, which also seems to do the trick.

    Total Commander has this very well implemented, you just have to select the files and use the Multi-Rename Tool option in the file menu.
