looking for a program.... or script

    i'm looking for a program that will take a group of files in a folder and either 1) randomly re name them or 2) rename them in an orderly fashion i.e. (file001.ext file002.ext file003.ext) etc

    It in called Microsoft Windows. Select all the files, choose rename, key a new name then all names changed to: name (1), name (2), etc.
