as i am about to create my website, which is gonna be big as i’m planning it to be, i started thinking about a profitable theme.
what would be the best and most lucrative idea, i said maybe an article directory full of copyright free content for webmasters to use, but this idea already exists, such websites are everywhere, then i thought of creating a niche website full of useful articles about a very specific topic, for instance something i like, Rock climbing, mountain hiking and themes of this sort…
but the main reason that made me post here is that i would like some feedback or suggestions, and I would be very gateful for that !

It is very difficult to get original theme as too much has happened so far in Internet. On the other hand, there is no reason that you should backoff from a theme that is used else where. Even there is enough room for an article directory full of copyright free content for webmasters.
HOwever, to my view the bet idea is to help people earn money. Well, about this theme I hardly see any good website. For example, in this forum 99% have the same goal- earn money but how many good websites can you find about that? Most webistes I visit about this theme are all the time trying to sell the visitors an ebook, MLM program, a course and so on. I think that if you honestly provide free and useful content about this theme you will get good visitors.

i guess you're right ! But wouldn't it be a lil too tough to get a good ranking on major search engines when competing with the Big guys ?
    dont you think ?

    Hi Hassan,

It's been said many times before, but I'd suggest starting with a subject where you have some interest, passion, and knowledge. Maybe pick a few, and then do some research to determine which one might be most profitable. The Internet is still in its infancy, and there are so many opportunities still available that you should have no trouble succeeding with a site that you're passionate about. Having an intrinsic interest in your subject matter will give you a "leg up" on your competition. :)
