Too cheap...you have much space in dp to advertise your services...This is not the way to do that...and in this way you are not going to find any buyers...Learn to do things in a proper way first...
I have to agree with Annieblogger - you completely lack any forum etiquette whatsoever! And how on earth can you compare yourself to a published writer? Even worse, is the fact that you are arrogant enough to say that you are better then someone whose content you have never seen or read! I would hazard a guess that you, obviously, have some journalistic experience, as well as qualifications! No - Well there's a surprise! As this is, typically, the minimum requirement to write for high-profile offline publications. Or are you just someone who thinks that writing is "an easy way to make money online", and requires no skill or talent? Having read a few of your threads, I will concede that you are a half decent writer. However your post here shows arrogance, ignorance, a spelling error and a grammatical error! If you wish to retort to this post by saying that you were merely replying to this thread and were in no way bothered about presentation, then I guess we can add careless and shoddy to your list of traits! So with all these aspects to take into consideration you will, without doubt, be far less expensive than a professional writer, but nowhere near as good! I'm sure you will do well in your "writing" career, but please don't ever make the assumption that you are better than someone who is likely to have undergone a specific education and training to write for a living! Hi James, I have qualifications in English Language, in both higher and further education, I am currently an English Language student and I've been doing part time work for my regional paper for the last 18 months, I've had articles published in print and online media. Your unfounded bitterness towards he is both pathetic and laughable. Your points, and I dread to call them that, are arbitary and superficial, you expect people to respect professional writers but you offer no charm or redeeming features to go with your posionous personality. I replied in this thread not to be berated by the resident holier than thou internet warrior, I replied because I thought the rates on offer were nothing short of extortionate. You point out mistakes in my response which, like your other claims, are unfounded and you accuse me of arrogance? Hi Matt, This is my final response, as we are currently taking over this thread, without any real relevant input! I would partially agree with you, yes, I should of perhaps minded my own business and not had the "holier than thou" attitude, and I am disappointed for lowering myself to this level! However whether you believe someone's rates to be extortionate or not, advertising your own services (self-promotion) in someone else's thread is a big NO-NO! If you want to flaunt your writing talents, start your own thread and promote your services there! Finally "student" I'm not your mate, and "wet wipe"? Seriously! I never knew 12 year olds could be such talented writers...and once again I have lowered myself! (Oh James will you ever learn?)
