Looking for a PHP coder. I want both lowball offers ($5/hr sort of thing) and higher-priced high quality offers. I may need both. What's important to me:

    - communication skills
    - a variety of experience - CSS, JavaScript, standards-compliant XHTML, etc are all huge pluses
    - high quality coding. I mean it. I have specifications for coding standards but code MUST be beautiful.
-- Good comments (not too many, they have to mean something)
    -- Modular
    -- Code cannot be duplicated
-- Good variable names ($iVar and $usrName are not)

I'll have other requests but that should give you an idea. Location doesn't really matter, good English is a must (any poets out there?)

    PM me with details. Thanks!

Have you tried the freelance sites yet?
Guru.com is good. I have a post around here somewhere about them. A big list.

    Good luck!

Thanks for all the replies! rays, I replied to your PM as well.

It should also be noted that if I do decide to bring someone on board, it will probably be for at least 6 months or so. I'm wary hiring freelancers/etc, because it will take at least a month or so (from what I've experienced) for code to be just the way I want. Not just coding standards and formatting, that's fairly easy, but the whole package and other specific tenets.
