Looking for a new reliable web host

Can anybody recommend me, from personal experience, a good web host?

I'm looking for a cPanel account with PHP4 and MYSQL, currently I have one of about 300MB and 20GB data transfer for $7.75. I'm looking for something in the same price range.

My current host has been having mayor issues since a server update resulting in sites not working for days in a row and error messages until today, a month later!

Either they solve it or I'm moving the lot to a new host.
So, suggestions? As I said, from personal experience....

go for siteground.com, 5.95 per month if you take one year, powerful host

 

The cheapest place that I have found which is been reliable for me is http://www.streamlinenet.co.uk. It is £24 per year if you buy 2 years. It has 500MB storage, unlimited bandwidth and an SQL server. Although don’t expect much technical help with your website, if your site does not work for some reason, they will tell you it is a coding problem. If you don’t think you will have such problems they are perfect.

 

I'm using HostGator.com and I'm very pleased. Give it a try...

Siteground is looking very interesting, are they reliable?

Anyway, after an email that I would remove my site if the problem would not be solved, it all of a sudden could be solved! Huray!

I'm still moving I guess, but with less of a rush.

 

WOW! big thanks for that suggestion. The host looks well established with thousands of customers and an EXTREMELY low price.

I am definitely moving to this host. I will post feedback if I can. Just need to find out how much it will cost to get my sites transferred over.

 

3ix is also extremely good, I have my 4-5 sites with them.

You not believe howmuch I have tortured the support guys... But they were SWEET enough reply my "every" email.

Touch wood, no downtime, till today. Very reliable..

I'l say I am in love with them...
