You're being a little unclear here, do you just need a website for an already produced MMORPG, or do you need somebody to make you an MMORPG? What exactly do you need done?

Upon further clarification I might be able to help you, I'll check back here later.

I am looking for someone who would be willing to take on this project from start to a finished project. This will be a brand new game with a unique theme.

So yes, I need someone who can make me a MMORPG.

Looking forward to hearing back from you rcadble

Are you looking for a web-based game, or a real MMO like World of Warcraft?

A web-based one you're probably looking at $1000-$2000 depending on the features you want.

A real MMO like WoW, Everquest, etc, will run you several million just to make it as you need an entire team of dedicated developers and designers on board, otherwise it'll take you 10 years to make it.

Most shared hosts will work fine when you first get started, but once you get to 500ish account you'll have a problem and probably need to get a VPS or dedicated box.

But you didn't post any details of what you had in mind for your game, so it's virtually impossible to give you much more info than what I already have.

I would use something like HostGator until you get to the point where you have you have dozens of simultaneous viewers.

I don't have a very impressive resume -- I'm a hobbyist mostly. I've made a few sites that are currently online like rcadble.net (own it), colorit.org (own it), and ab3r.com (sold it), though I have worked on other projects that never really got complete (since they were personal and pointless). If you want to PM me the theme, price range, details, and timeframe, go for it, since you probably have that prepared anyways. I can't just blindly accept the job though.

I've been kicked off hostgator because of the resources my game was using. -.- And I had only around 15 players online, really annoying.

I've coded my very own unique game, started project 2 years ago, I might sell you a copy with no resale rights non transferable license. Reply with your budget here and if I am interested we might talk more ;)

I will also be providing 2hr/day coding service to enchance the game features.

It's not that people aren't interested mong00se, it's the fact that you have little idea of what you are planning to do. You want to make a MMO, but you have nothing specific aside from the very brief details that you PM'd me - which to be honest isn't enough to do anything with.

Sure I can code one for you, as can lots of other developers here, but you have nothing to go on. So there is no project scope, no goals, not even a simple concept of what the game should be like.

LotRO works great in Wine (although you need a little launch script). Only tried the 10 day trial of wow, but LotRO seems to fix the little annoyances I had with that game. And the stories and lore is much better.
