I'm with a marketing firm in the Tri-State area and we are launching a new marketing campaign requiring 150-200 promoters/models. Where can I personally go to hand select my models. I don't want to post on craigslist because I end up receiving too many unwanted replies to what the ad actaully asks for. Any ideas?
Have them come to you... Rent a meeting room in a hotel and advertise anywhere you want - newspaper, craigslist (use a throw-away email address with an autoresponder telling them where and when to show up), local forums, etc. They show up, you select them. All done in a single day.
have you been to models.com? i havent been there in awhile but maybe you could post in the forums there... that way your already in a place that has the clients you want without all the ones you dont.
I would recommend this site: http://www.imj-online.com I know a lot of photographers are on this site getting models all the time. They have a huge portal of face and it's free for bookers, casting agents, photgraphers and anyone seeking a model. I think they make their money from the models or adverts. Anyways, I'm based in London and LA and I alway post gigs on this site. I get a lot of models in return and it's helped me a lot!
