Looking for a library of free emoticons

Just like the ones on the right of the compose window, a set of a couple of hundred icons, smilies plus perhaps a few other symbols. Searching the net all I find is individual files, whereas I'd like an archive. Also, I do not need animated icons.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?
