Looking for a good proxy host

    I need a reliable proxy host. My current host have around 50% downtime :rolleyes:

    Which one people do you recommend.

    What is your current host

    as well as your budget?

    I think shared hosting can run some proxy scripts fine.

    If VPS go with Gate.com, or Goddady.

    Dedicated go with The Planet, or Server Beach

    Linode.com provides the most solid VPSes I've used. They allow proxy websites. Keep in mind, they are unmanaged.

    I prefer not to say which is my current host, no need to trash them. But they are really crappy.

    Any others, I will like to spend around $5 if possible.
