Hello, I am searching for a decent php & mysql programmer to partner with me in the creation of a search engine that I am developing. Thus far I have the basic infrastructure setup, all that is left to be created is a formula to rank the results. I have created the crawler, the search features including pagination and the general setup. The person who is selected will not be paid by the hour, but instead will receive a percentage of the profits as they come in. I have already begun planning the launch and what is running of the search engine is in fact getting a few hundred searches a week already it's only a matter of time before the company makes money. To Apply You Must:

    - Know PHP & MYSQL
    - Be A Decent Programmer ( As In You Have Some Experience. )
    - Be Able To Understand English Easily
    - Be Able To Joke Around & Have Fun
    - Understand That This Is A Partnership, NOT A Job
    - Be Online A Lot So I Can Update You With News About The Site
    - Be Willing To Work For A Few Weeks or Months Without Being Paid For It, I'll Be In The Same Boat.
    - Work 10 - 20 Hours A Week On The Project

This doesn't mean your life instantly becomes the property of the company, your welcome to work other jobs, have a life and do everything as if this is your own project. I need someone to work with for 2 main reasons: I'm pretty good at php, but I'm not "amazing" and because working by yourself on something isn't that enjoyable.

Well the search engine I'm developing is a bit of a unique idea, and thus prewritten scripts don't even come close to the technology needed to make it run :p

xD, I dont use prewritten scripts either. Everything I use is 100% unique (coded by me).
Main issue for a search engine is that you need ALOT of server power to have enough spiders going over the web.
