Looking for a good live chat tool for website

Can anyone recommend a good live chat tool for using on a website. Ideally one which will help increase engagement from users. i.e. noticeable. I currently use Zopim but find that engagement is quite poor from users starting conversations. I'd like to try an new live chat, one which helps increase conversions.

I do use Zopim on my website, but another alternative is vCita. Your visitors can also schedule a conversation with you. That's a wordpress plugin. And they have a website too. Check them out

 

Neat tool! Maybe litlle poor design... But also, it's free.

?? Seem to me more to be a "outsourced personal calendar" meaning other people can fill your agenda with meetings. (Maybe I didn't see the chat part?)

vCita is a little bit more advanced, if you want to schedule meeting with people, that's kinda more official.
But Zopim is good. They have a free version and the paid one. I personally use the free one, because I don't spend all of the time on my website, so when someone leaves me a message, I get a notification on my email address. The design is great too, and I think that's one of the best ones

 

I think your demands may differ from the kind as I'm looking at.
I get the impression, from the post, that for you it would not be the big difference to just put your e-mail address on the site...

I use ZOPIM. Not perfect but it's the best cost-effective one I can find. Easy to use!

 

I think the best I know is Livechatinc but their price is a bit higher compared to others on the market. But hey, if what it needs to be done to get more sales, then you should try.

 

Kayako is a great live chat tool, have been using it for almost 11 years by now!
