Looking For A Good Font

I'm basically creating a new site which has a mascot and I want to add the initials of the site onto his t-shirt, the problem is I'm having trouble finding a good font to make these 2 letters.

Can anyone suggest any good ones? If it makes a difference the letters are RB

    Thanks

You can check www.dafont.com and browse through various categories there. Some fonts are really fantastic and you should be able to find something suitable for your needs.

I'm actually in the process of looking through there, having difficulty finding one that stands out.

What font style are you looking for? Script/handwritten, grunge, gothic/blackletter?
There are numerous good fonts, the tough part may be designing the initial so it looks good.

I was thinking either a script/handwritten or just a basic style that's easily readable and looks good.

Something like the tshirt initials on tylercruz.com perhaps?

You can achieve good results with different styles. For example here's Garamond:

Hmm I like the idea behind that. I guess I'm going to have to trial different fonts to find one that I like.

Yeah, Defont is widely used. I'd recommend that.

If you haven't found one yet, how bout letters similar to one you would find on a varsity school jacket?

You can find some good ones at www.fontmarketplace.com and search the sports category. Good Luck!

If you are stuck after a while, I can make a custom font for you...not for free though. Let me know if you are interested.

Trajan has a nice look for capital letters placed together.
There's a wikipedia entry for it.
