Don't bother with the subscription services. You can install a program or have it installed. Check out autorespondershub.com for software.

Don't waste your time going there. Just affiliate links for aweber..

If you already have your list you have a small problem. The major autresponders such as getresponse, aweber etc will not let you import them without having them opt in again. This is to protect you and them from spam complaints.

How did you get this list if you didn't use an autoresponder? Just curious.

My hosting account has unlimited autoresponders and I don't need to have double opt in with them. Check yours out.

And there are other good programs you can use but they are fairly expensive.
If you are interested let me know.

You should try MailChimp. They also have a free account service - it's a full featured account, but with 100 subscribers limit - just to try and test things out.

This guy offers a free edition of an email autoresponder software: http://free-software-download.us/blog/ I'm considering using it myself cos i've seen some good reviews of it.

The free edition has some limitations compared to the pro version, like unsubscribe and double optin. Seems like the pro version cost around $75

Check out this service it claims the ability to import your list and only cost $17/m no matter the size of the list.
