Hi, I'll be completely honest. I've mostly been funding my web sites with text link ads, but due to the recent google dance safe continuation of such revenue seems threatened. I wont make any conclusions, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. So... I'm seriously looking into CPM advertising. I have two sites both getting more than 1500 visits per day (google dance regardless) and here are my requirements: - I need to be able to approve each advertisement that is to be showing on my before accepting it. I have my own rules and mere category filtering is not enough. - As high CPM as possible. Needless to say. - A trustful reputable company that pays on time and pays by check or moneybookers (if anyhow possible), cause I can't yet accept PayPal. - Obviously needs to accept sites that have 1500 visits a day. Any suggestions?
I think you are going to have to sell your own CPM advertising if you want your own rules and have a low amount of traffic. Either that or you can use either of the 2 first ad networks listed here. You don't get your own rules, but they are 2 of the higher tier networks and are very reputable and you can also select the ads that go on your website where you can approve them first. Good luck, but what I have listed above is all that you are roughly going to get unless you could also try adbrite, adtoll, etc. They may also do something with CPM where you may also be able to select the sites. Other than this, you will have to most probably sell your own cpm advertising.
Well I applied for CPX Interactive and Advert-Revenue last night, just to see what happens, but truth be told I was thinking of doing it myself too anyway and I've already prepared OpenAds for this purpose. If you say this may be the best way to go (and I've also heard elsewhere selling it on your own may be the best, albeit not always the easiest) that reassures me to go and try on my own. Thank you.
You can try adbrite.com - they own both SFW and NSFW networks, you approve each ad, and they offer many variations (flatrate/cpm/interstitials...). Best regards, NC.
I believe I actually have adbrite.com account already from before, but when I tried logging in to it it wants to download the login.php page. Looks like there is something wrong with their php processing. And now how can that be reassuring? It's SUCH a stupid issue it's making me mad. So.. yeah.. in other words, darn adbrite people should first fix their php before I can try them again.. *sigh*
I just tried adtoll.. I wish they'd allow moneybookers payments and filtering animated ads.. My visitors hate those and we actually have a policy against them which I must stick to. Any adtoll guy around?
