I am looking for a autoresponder service that will allow importing of contacts. I have name,email address and IP address of people who requested more information from me. I need a company that allows importing with unlimited autoresponders and also broadcast facility. I am not looking at aweber and getresponse. I am not looking for a software I need Importing of contacts(no limit), unlimited subscribers unlimited autoresponders boradcast feature.
May I ask why you aren't comfortable with AWeber? They offer precisely the facilities you've asked for. I myself am not with AWeber, because they bill your credit card and I prefer paying with paypal. http://www.1stautoresponders.com has served me well for this purpose.
aweber only allows 10k people in a list.. so 1stautoresponders allow unlimited subscribers, allow importing ?

I use trafficoasis autoresponder and also responsemagic. Both have tutorials and training to help to start them , and both have what you said you where looking for. Responsemagic is cheaper. But if you don't care about the cost, check them both out. good luck.
You can try phplist. However you will have to install/host/maintain it yourself. Since you are hosting it yourself, you will have complete control on it and you can do what ever you want.
How are you at installing and maintaing your own scripts? Specifically how are you at PHP and MySQL. (Not programming, just for example setting up a database and setting the configuration variables.)
i use aweber and would recommend using them... if i were you get a credit card with a low limit just for serving such accounts

I think 1stautoresponders.com is already a good deal at $6.95/month. The only thing you should worry is the message deliverability.
