Looking for a few team members for upcoming team blog about blogging

there are a TON of blogs on how to blog, so I am sure many of you are thinking that this is never going to work- but wait- I am now considered a 'mom blogger' and do you know what I have learned while making the switch from being a home business blog to a 'mom' blog? These ladies need help! I get an average of 4 emails A DAY asking for advice, they just don't understand the 'how to blogs' that are out there now, they need more basic, tailored advice... sooooo....

I recently purchased http://momblogging101.com and am planning a team blog on how to 'mom blog' I am planning on focusing mainly on what NOT to do, and how, i.e. design reviews and critiques, showing a BAD review vs. a good one. How to use social media, how to start a blog, etc. Geared towards 'mom' bloggers, (parenting, review, etc)

I had a few people on the team a while back but we ended up dropping the idea as they just were not motivated enough. I am reconsidering the idea, but need some team members that are motivated and exited about this. (positive thinking is huge- if you expect it to be successful in the end then it will be)

You dont have to be a woman, but you do need to have a fairly successful self hosted blog, does not matter what topic, just being a successful blogger will qualify you because I am sure in getting whee you are now you learned a lot over the way. You will need to know basic design, NOT saying you need to have designed your own theme, or are in any way a designer, I am talking about being able to KNOW what would look good vs. what doesn't. (Default WP template vs. a customized one) I am sure you see where I am going with this, if you are opinionated, knowledgeable in the blogging/social media field, speak fluent English, and are thrilled to get in on this project then you are perfect!

When I say fairly successful blog, I don't mean I am looking for a PR 5 and 10,000 visits a day, I am talking about a blog that you update regularly, has a decent amount of readers and commenters, etc.

I already have a ton of ideas for the blog in terms of making money, NOTE- there will be NO money in the beginning, and if you know blogging you know that it takes time and patience to start making money from your blog. But with some of the ideas I have mixed with your ideas, I really believe we can make some money with this if we do it right. (That's where the motivation comes in!)

I wouldn't expect full time, not in the least, but I would expect you to participate in the private team forum I am setting up where we will collaborate on all the details. You would be getting in on something from the very beginning, helping your image, your other blog/s, and hopefully - eventually your wallet!

this has gotten long enough, sorry about that! I hope to hear from some of you soon to talk about it!

So you need bloggers to write in your blog and you will be sharing th revenue that you get from the blog with the bloggers?
Is this what you are looking for?

You should try to find someone locally to partner with.

Even though this would be a good thing, finding a partner locally - it's not a must.

My partner and I are half-way across the world to each other, yet we still manage our blog - perfectly fine :)

Good luck with your project Eve, I will be looking forward to see what it gets out of it. I have also considered teaming up with other people and create a blog (more hands writing content are better than one, right?) but I didn't have time to set things up and always believed that others wouldn't be rushing in to join. Unfortunately from the answers to this topic I was right, but things might change. I really wish you good luck with the project!

Thanks everyone, I have found a great partner- we couldn't have matched up better, and decided to make it a 'co-blog' instead of a 'team' blog, that way we dont have to try to get luck and find someone we mesh with so well! LOL
