Looking for a directory script

Hey


Looking for a directory script, but something that has a good search function and isn't locked down with ioncube/zend so I can mod it.

I want the search results to show a link to the site, a long description and have categories, images, contact page, some sort of member system, etc

Any suggestions? I like the look of phpLD but the demo is pretty limited and I don't want to pay the cash to find out its not what I want

I started to build one but haven't gone any further yet. It's not quite complete yet. The idea was to build a directory that people could join, validate their account, vote on hubs, add multiple deep links to their site, link to their blogs, forums, squidoo lenses etc etc. I was also building in a link swap function, messaging system etc so that it become a kind of networking site. I've only got round to building about 20% of it so far. Designs not great like. Add your link if you want.. Link is in sig.

PHPLD is not encoded and will do just about anything you want it to do and has plenty of mods available.

 

try esyndicat, it's source is open.
You can try first free version, thought it is less featured.
It has full featured demo and free support.
