Looking for a directory script developed in PHP

I am looking for either a free or paid for directory script developed in PHP.
I've tried several different script such as phplinksdirectory.com and site sift.

The problem with both scripts is trying to edit the title for each page. Plus the URL's are too long when using the phplinksdirectory script.

As for site sift, I love their script. However, I can't seem to edit the title for each page. Example: for my baseball cards category page I'd like to give it a title of, "Baseball Cards-Web Pages Added By Raz-Sports.com/. When I try to do this via the admin, the title title appears on the directory home page.

Also, for the baseball category itself I created a title called, "baseball directory-human edited baseball categories listed by Raz-Sports.com."
This too appears on the home page of the directory. It also appears on the baseball cards page.........making the title real big.

Anyway, if anyone could help, please let me know. In return I could post your link on my articles partner page.

OR if there is another script out there, please let me know. Thanks.

As for phplinksdirectory script, I would suggest you to give it more time. You can have friendly URLs and use the title you want with some little template modifications

    Calivad,

I don't like phplinkdirectory. The URL's are to big and you can't change the title
for each page. I've asked about this several times and never receive the proper answer.

    Hello razsports,
you can try to use esyndicat directory script. Page titles and urls are creating dynamically depending on your categories name. There is also possibility to use suffix for page titles. You also can modify mod_rewrite rules at .htaccess file in your own way to get urls you need.

Actually, you can change the title to any page you want. By default, the category title is the page title, but that can be changed with just a few minutes of coding.

As for the URL size, what is too big? phpLD uses site/page title/page title/page title.

That's not true for the paid version of phpLD. Each category page has it's own unique page titles, as do the detail pages.
