Hello DigitalPoint Community, I am looking for a partner to open a hosting company specilizing in multiple location based Shared and Reseller hosting to start with which could branch out to selling VPS's but eventually Dedicated Servers and RDP's. The company would be to provide premium hosting at rock bottom prices. If you are interested then you must have WHMCS and Server experience as it is vital. I currently have someone in the middle of custom coding a web template for us and I have bought a WHMCS license. If you are interested in joining me then you must be willing to put money into the company, for example we will start off with 2 servers, one based in NL and one based in US. They will come to around about $60 for them both, then cPanel licenses are needed for both VPS's so I would say if you are interested in helping you are going to be having to put in around $90-$120 to start with. Please remember than any money put in to hosting companies, in the right hands can make a LOT of profit, for example my old company which was shut down because I opened up with someone who wasn't very trustworthy and he messed me about and stole a LOT of money from me, we were bringing in around $4,000/mo but then we were paying $1,900/mo for our servers and licenses, then paying out all the 9 staff members we had, eventually, me and the other owner walked away with around $800-$900/mo profit. Was a good business and can make a lot of money. I suggest you move this to the Partnership section in the BST the people checking over there will be more likely to invest money in a joint venture like you are trying to create one.
Sounds interesting, but do you have any other details worked out such as plans and advertising strategy?
