Looking for a cheap host in India

    My friend is looking for a cheap local host in India to host a small personal site but she needs someone who accepts cheques as she's too young to have a credit card or a paypal account.

    She needs at least 1GB space and 10GB bandwidth.

    maybe google search "india hosting providers" ? Sure something will turn up there.

    www.jodohost.com accepts online payments from Indian banks and Indian demand drafts.

    Their FAQ states that they accept checks too, but I am not sure about it. You can contact them to clarify.

    Are u fixed to only local hosts? If not why don't you try for other hosts based at US.

    Most of my sites are being hosted by this webhosting company. Their services are also very nice. They will receive payments rhro' ICICI bank. No need for check. Just pay the required amount thro' teller of your nearby braNch.

    The site is aalphanet.com
