Need a little help determining if Wordpress is best or another format ?

This is a blog for an individual and her company (not mine but the wifes) no adsense or other monetization likely except possible banner ad space for her own sites.

Other details requested as well as current web site color/look info available to those interested. Please post if interested.

Looking for something slick, high end looking and full of features and functions.

Wordpress is the way to go. It's free and highly customizable. I own a blog network and that is all I use.

I totally recommend Word Press, with a professionally designed Theme. There are some very nice ones out there, that hardly look like a blog.

It is the way to go!!!

I'm much as I have learned, WordPress is for better looks and more opportunities for design modifications, Blogger-like Blogs are for SE traffic and SE friendliness. Your descriptions sounds like the first one.
