    Because I encourage hotlinking to the files, but only with a backlink to the website. So, I want to figure out whom is hotlinking and if they are giving a backlink to the website.

    On the other hand when I tried at first to block .swf files from being hotlinked, before I said okay go ahead and hotlink but give a backlink to my site, that meathod didn't work.

    AWStats is free software (GNU General Public License). It allows the addition of "Extra Sections". It is possible to add a section which lists the hotlinked images. It is also possible to add another section listing the hotlinking referrers.

    I don't think it is possible to create a section that would match the "hotlinked images" with the corresponding "hotlinking referrers".

    I hope this helps.

    I do not know how I could do that. I have been able to generate a second separate list with the hotlinked files.
    ExtraSectionName3="Hotlinked movies"
    ExtraSectionCodeFilter3="200 304"
    ExtraSectionCondition3="REFERER,^http:\/\/(?!www\.mydomain\.com)"
    ExtraSectionFirstColumnTitle3="Hotlinked movie"
    ExtraSectionFirstColumnValues3="URL,^(.*\.mpeg)$"
    ExtraSectionFirstColumnFormat3="<a href='%s' target='_blank'>%s</a>"
    ExtraSectionStatTypes3=HBL
    ExtraSectionAddSumRow3=1
    MaxNbOfExtra3=10
    MinHitExtra3=1
    Code (markup):
    This code should be improved, because, at this time, it includes the .mpeg files that appear in Google cache, as they are kind of hotlinked movies.
