Looking at other sites Meta Tags etc...

    I know how to look, either view the source or use firebug but I can't find sites keywords, descriptions, etc...and alot of the sites I looked at are fairly popular and rank high for certain keywords - what am I missing?

    i assume that those site are very popular.. they usually don't use metas since they already known around the web..
